Tomorrow, Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson will host the fifth annual EU-Algeria High-Level Energy Dialogue in Brussels. The Commissioner will co-chair the meeting with the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, where they will discuss how to enhance the strong energy ties between the EU and Algeria.

This year's High-Level Energy Dialogue follows the Commissioner's visit to Algeria last year and marks the continuation of the EU-Algeria strategic partnership on energy which covers cooperation on natural gas, renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy market integration. Discussions in Brussels will be particularly focused on methane emissions and renewable hydrogen, as potential areas for further cooperation.

At the end of the Energy Dialogue, at around 14:00 CEST tomorrow, Commissioner Simson and Minister Arkab will deliver press statements that you can follow on EbS.
