A series of regional meetings on the Projects of Common Interest (PCIs) and Projects of Mutual Interest (PMIs) process for electricity and offshore, and hydrogen and electrolysers categories was held on 17-21 April 2023.
The aim of these meetings was to present the candidate PCI/PMI projects to the regional groups. They also included a summary presentation of the results of the targeted consultation carried out for these candidate projects between 21 December 2022 and 16 March 2023.
The Commission presented the principles for the assessment of the candidate projects, taking into account the cost-benefit analysis methodologies for the following infrastructure categories: hydrogen, electrolysers and energy storage.
