Why we are consulting
According to Article 6(1) of the Gas Regulation (EC) No 715/2009 and Article 59(3) of the Electricity Regulation (EU) 2019/943, the Commission has to establish a priority list identifying the areas to be included in the development of network codes (every three years for electricity and on an annual basis for gas). Before establishing such a priority list, the Commission needs to consult the relevant stakeholders.
The objective of this consultation is to consult stakeholders on the priorities for the development of gas network codes and guidelines for 2024, of electricity network codes and guidelines for 2024-2027, as well as beyond these periods.
