7th European Nuclear Safety Conference

The conference theme is ‘Responding to the growing interest in nuclear energy’ and it is organised by the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration, on behalf of the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group (ENSREG) in cooperation with the European Commission Directorate General for Energy.

The main objective of the event is to give an opportunity to European nuclear safety authorities regulators, and their technical support organisations (TSOs), as well as all other stakeholders, to exchange experiences and views on the achievements and challenges in nuclear safety in the EU and globally.

Participants and speakers:

We expect around 200 participants including major actors in the civil nuclear field, also from non-EU countries.

The Conference will be opened by the President of the Conference, Director of Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration, Igor Sirc, followed by our keynote speaker Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson (video message) and guest speaker Nuclear Energy Agency Director General William D. Magwood. Chairs of ENSREG, WENRA and HERCA will follow with views from their organisations.
