The Working Groups are created through call for experts, inviting interested experts from Coalition Members to participate. Additional experts selected from a pre-approved expert pool managed by the Secretariat may be added to the working groups if it is needed.
The calls include the terms of reference for the specific tasks, expected outcomes, and timeline of activities.
The Working Group on energy renovations concluded its work in early 2026, delivering its final report on the voluntary portfolio framework for mortgage lenders to the European Commission.
Launched in January 2026, to address the specific challenges of SMEs, the working group is addressing demand activation, business models for energy service companies as well as blending and guarantees.
As a joint initiative with the Pan-European Investment Platform for affordable and sustainable housing, it will facilitate targeted peer exchange and identify housing financing solutions.
