On 19 March 2019, the European Commission, in collaboration with the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO), the Instituto para la Diversificación y ahorro de la Energía (IDAE), and the UN Environment Finance Initiative, organized a second national roundtable on finance for energy efficiency in Spain.
The roundtable gathered key Spanish stakeholders to continue dialogue on energy efficiency finance and to identify common objectives for, and potential improvements to, the country's political framework and business practices.
The event, which took place in Madrid, was a continuation of the successful Public conference on financing energy efficiency in Spain and Portugal in June 2017 and the first national roundtable in April 2018.
