Second Roundtable on Finance for Energy Efficiency in Romania, 6 June 2019, Bucharest (Romania)

6 June 2019

Location:
Bucharest, Romania

This roundtable is a follow up of the first roundtable, which took place on 11 October 2018 in Bucharest, and of the regional conference on Financing Energy Efficiency in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, which took place in Bucharest on 1 February 2018. The event is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration, the Ministry of European Funds of Romania, the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and the UN Environment Finance Initiative. It is part of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, which support the implementation of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative in the EU Member States.

The roundtables aim to facilitate a dialogue between key Romanian stakeholders on how to improve access to finance for energy efficiency investments, and to identify common objectives and potential improvements to be made in the current policy framework and business practices. The working sessions will focus on integrated home renovation services, de-risking energy efficiency investments and energy renovation of public buildings.
