Second Roundtable on Finance for Energy Efficiency, 27 March 2019, Warsaw (Poland)

27 March 2019

Location
Warsaw, Poland

This roundtable is a follow up of the first roundtable, which took place on 15 May 2018 in Warsaw, and of the regional conference on Financing Energy Efficiency in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania which took place in Warsaw on 30 November 2017. The event was organised by the European Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Poland, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOSiGW), the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), and the UN Environment Finance Initiative. It is part of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, which support the implementation of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative in the EU Member States.

The second roundtable aims to further stimulate the dialogue between key Polish stakeholders on how to improve access to finance for energy efficiency investments, and to identify common objectives and potential improvements to be made in the current policy framework and business practices.

The working sessions focus on:

  • Support to energy efficiency investment at a local level, with a focus on a concept of one-stop-shop
  • Investment in energy efficiency for businesses
  • Energy efficiency in single family buildings in the context of the “Clean Air Programme”
