15 May 2018

Location
Warsaw, Poland

On 15 May 2018 a national roundtable on energy efficiency finance in Poland took place in Warsaw. The event was organised by the European Commission, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Poland, the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOSiGW) and the UN Environment Finance Initiative.

It was a follow up of the public event organised on 30 November 2017 as part of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, which support the implementation of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative in the EU Member States.

The roundtable aimed to start a dialogue on energy efficiency financing between key stakeholders in Poland, in order to identify common goals and possible improvements in the national political framework. The working sessions focused on residential buildings, public buildings, industry, and the involvement of banks in energy efficiency finance.
