Roundtable on Finance for Energy Efficiency in Ireland, 11 October 2018, Dublin

Date: 11 October 2018

Location:
Dublin, Ireland

On 11 October, a national roundtable on financing energy efficiency in buildings and SME’s in Ireland will take place in Dublin. The event is organised by the European Commission in partnership with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and the UN Environment Programme - Finance Initiative. It is a follow up of the regional conference on Promoting and Financing Energy Efficiency in Ireland and the United Kingdom, which took place on 28 September 2017 in Dublin. These events are part of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums, which support the implementation of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative in the EU Member States.

The roundtable aims to initiate and support a dialogue between key Irish stakeholders on how to improve access to finance for energy efficiency investments and to identify common objectives and potential improvements to the current policy framework and business practices. The working sessions will focus on the small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SME’s) access to sustainable energy finance, and energy performance contracting as a way to stimulate investment in public assets.

This is a closed event upon invitation only.
