The LIFE Programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment and climate action. Its Clean Energy Transition (CET) sub-programme supports the delivery of EU policies in the field of sustainable energy, in particular, the European Green Deal, the Energy Union (2030 energy and climate targets) and the European Union’s 2050 long-term decarbonisation strategy.
LIFE CET SMART-READY projects
As part of the 2021 call “Creating the conditions for a global improvement of smart readiness of European buildings”, four proposals aimed to support the successful uptake of the SRI have been selected. These projects started at the end of 2022 and will last 3 years. They involve the implementation of SRI support activities in full consistency and complementarity with the SRI policy implementation work.
LIFE CET BUILD-PERFORM projects
As part of the 2022 call “Energy performance and Smart Readiness of buildings – making the instruments work”, three proposals were selected. The projects aim to support the EU countries in the implementation of the Energy Performance Certificates and of the Smart Readiness Indicator and to promote the market up-take of both instruments. These projects started at the end of 2023 and will last 3 years.
