Identification of Appropriate Generation and System Adequacy Standards for the Internal Electricity Market

Security of electricity supply is a concern for both EU countries and the EU. This study discusses the properties of different indicators used to describe the power system's ability to meet demand and makes recommendations on how such indicators could be harmonised across EU countries.
