The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) returns for its 18th edition. Implementing climate-neutral solutions, along with the development and use of clean technologies, are essential to achieving Europe’s energy transition and competitiveness. Therefore, EUSEW 2024 is themed: Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Europe. A second major focus of this edition will be on cities, demonstrating their important role in driving positive change.

EUSEW takes place from 11 to 13 June 2024 in Brussels and online. Last year’s hybrid edition attracted over 12 000 participants with around 2 000 delegates attending from 127 countries. Save your place by registering and pencil-in your sessions!

The conference programme comprises  7 high-level plenaries, including the traditional awards ceremony, policy sessions, the  European Youth Energy Day, as well as networking opportunities at the Energy Fair.

The conference will engage hundreds of speakers in lively debates between each other and with the audience, exploring 5 main themes: net-zero energy solutions, cities and citizens, renewables, energy efficiency, as well as decarbonisation and international cooperation. It will start on Tuesday morning, with EU Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson opening the conference, joined by high-level representatives from the Belgian Presidency, the European Parliament and civil society.

EUSEW 2024 will also be about showcasing energy solutions that can be implemented now, making the clean energy transition a reality in Europe, and bringing benefits for European citizens’ quality of life, jobs and businesses. A cohort of 30 Young Energy Ambassadors between 18 and 34 years old will also be present. They come from various EU countries, studies and professions, but have in common that they are passionate about building a sustainable, secure and clean energy future for Europe and the world.
