This first Youth Policy Dialogue on energy is part of the European Commission’s ongoing commitment to involving the younger generation in shaping a competitive, clean, and fair energy transition.

The Commissioner for Energy and Housing, Dan Jørgensen, will meet 30 young people in Brussels to discuss a series of energy topics relevant to youth and energy policy making, such as the just energy transition, renewable energy, energy infrastructure, skills, energy financing, and the integration of the electricity market.

The group of participants will bring diverse perspectives from across Europe, and will include members of networks, such as the Young Energy AmbassadorsEuropean Youth Energy NetworkClimate Pact Ambassadors and others.
