Description
To support security of supply, decarbonisation and competitiveness for EU companies, the Commission launched the EU Energy and Raw Materials Platform in July 2025. The Platform is designed to empower European companies to source energy-related products and raw materials efficiently and competitively. It offers solutions to collect demand, and supply offers from companies and provide aggregation and matchmaking services.
The Biomethane Mechanism aims to provide visibility for demand and supply, reduce information asymmetry and increase regulatory transparency.
It will offer several functionalities, including
- a matching feature to facilitate market discovery between buyers and suppliers,
- a regulatory dashboard providing clarity on national frameworks,
- an investment conditions feature.
If you wish to receive updates on the platform in the meantime, we also invite you to subscribe to our newsletter, where we regularly share information on upcoming registrations, calls for interest and key milestones.
