
A series of cross-regional meetings are being organised 13-24 March 2023 to validate the needs methodology and agree on the final list of needs of electricity and offshore, hydrogen and electrolysers, smart grids and CO2 networks per region.
The needs will be identified by implementing the needs methodology (updated following comments from the regional groups and uploaded on CIRCABC before the meeting, corroborated with the Member States’ input presented in the previous meetings,also available on CIRCABC.

The objective of the meetings is to present participants with the results of the public consultation on the submitted projects and the final assessment methodology. During the meetings, project promotors will also have the opportunity to present the submitted projects and answer technical questions from other participants. Presentations should help the Thematic Area Group members and stakeholders understand the projects' cross-border impact, benefits, costs, and timelines.
