22nd Energy and Managing Authorities (EMA) Network meeting

The European Commission set up the EMA network in 2014, in the framework of the Cohesion Policy funding. The aim is to support Member States in making the most effective use of Cohesion Policy funding to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, smart energy infrastructure, and energy-related innovation.

The 22nd meeting will address Cohesion Policy implementation and its mid-term review, financing of energy infrastructure, and updates on energy policy initiatives. Key topics will include policy developments, financing energy infrastructure, cybersecurity in the energy sector and the protection of critical energy infrastructure new financing mechanisms, and the integration of new priorities under the mid-term review. 

The event will offer a platform for EU institutions, national authorities, and stakeholders to exchange information, experiences, latest developments and identify best practices.
